EF Outbood Podcast Interview

Travel can provide some very transformational experiences. From becoming more open-minded about other cultures, making new friends, getting some much needed R&R, or being hit with a revelation from getting out of your comfort zone. EF Outbound is a podcast series that focuses on all of these things… each episode focuses on a captivating story from an individual that was changed by travel.

After host Shelby Otmani stumbled on my blog post “How Iceland Changed My Life”, she reached out to me asking if I would like to share my story on their show. In 2013 I went on a trip to Iceland with my family that opened my eyes in a way I never expected. On this two-week road trip around the country I found myself in more in my element behind a camera than I was in my job back home. Enough so that once I returned from this trip I quit my job to become a full-time photographer… chasing that passion I felt when I was in Iceland.

The podcast goes into the details of this experience, the tribulations of being packing into a tiny car with your family, and what I ultimately got out of this trip. If you have been wanting to ditch your 9 to 5 to pursue your passion I strongly suggest you give this story a listen.
