Goop: Soul Searching Through Travel

A while back Francis Mallmann invited me to a dinner he was involved in at Hotel Bel-Air. Lo and behold I was seated at a table of amazing people, one of which included Gwyneth Paltrow. We got to talking throughout the evening, as a fan of Francis she asked me about my photo adventures with Francis and in exchange, I learned more about her passion project Goop. After that night we stayed in touch. Since then, I had the honor of my book "SOLO" being included in the 2017 Goop Gift Guide. And after that I chatted with her and her staff about doing an article for the site about my favorite solo travel destinations on the west coast.

That list ended up incuding Big Sur, Moab, and Sedona and how solo travel could be used as a tool for self-empowerment... especially for females. Needless to say, I am incedibly flattered to contribute to such a well-respected outlet.
