Destination Of The Week: Autocamp

A while back I was invited to come stay and shoot at a place called Auto Camp in Russian River outside of Sonoma Valley in Northern California. The property is tucked in amongst Redwood trees and you have your option to stay in tents or trailers. However these weren't just any tents and trailers. The tents canvas with a spacious, modern interior, queen-sized beds, electrical outlets, heated blankets, and a personal firepit equipped with all the amenities you would need to cook a meal. After spending my first night in a tent I thought it would be hard to leave want to sleep anywhere else... until I saw the interior of the Airstream trailers. I am pretty well aquainted with Airstreams... but since these trailers are stationary, they were able to completely remodel the interiors with beautiful tile, wood, fixtures, and furniture. Autocamp is the perfect mix of luxury and the outdoors. Their main clubhouse leaves provides a far cry from "roughing it"... with beautiful architecture and interior design and an impressive selection of food items and wines. Plus you are situated right in the middle of wine country and the beutiful rocky coast of Northern Califorina... so I suggest venturing out to appreciate what the surround area has to offer.

I'll let my photos do the rest of the talking.
